The Belgian representative at the Eurovision 2016 Laura Tesoro became widely popular in her country in 2014 after participation in the popular musical contest The Voice van Vlaanderen (the Belgian version of the world famous show The Voice). In the contest final Laura could possess the second place and soon started working on recording of her first single. The popularity she acquired due to the contest has helped the singer stay on the radar of the Belgian audience for some time. In 2016, Laura Tesoro took part in the national selection for Eurovision and managed to win it, acquiring the right to perform on the contest stage in Stockholm. |
