In their pursuit of fame and renown, the members of Danish band Lukas Graham chose one of the most effective and cutting edge methods of gaining publicity—the Internet. Their first few homemade music videos appeared on YouTube in 2011, and in a very short time the aspiring musicians reached their goal—they became known to hundreds of thousands of people. Thanks to this popularity, Lukas Graham, who did not yet have a single recorded album, ventured to embark on their first road tour. The triumph of their shows ensured the future success of their eponymous debut record, which came out in 2012. |
