Offset announces first solo headlining tour

Offset has announced that he will be embarking on his first solo headlining tour.

The rapper announced on Tuesday that he will set off on his first solo headlining tour, Set It Off Tour, later this year.

The trek will mark the first time Offset, 32, has headlined a U.S. tour without his fellow Migos rappers, Quavo and the late Takeoff.

"SET IT OFF is more than a phrase, it's a vibe we're creating together. This tour is not just a series of concerts, it's a journey into my mind," the Bad and Boujee rapper stated in a press release. "I'm ready to hit the road on my first solo headlining tour, bringing the heat and most importantly, giving the fans a new way to experience my music."

The 17-city tour is set to kick off in Philadelphia on 10 March. The Grammy-nominated artist will stop in cities including New York, Boston, Phoenix, Dallas, Chicago and Los Angeles, before wrapping up in his hometown of Atlanta on 10 April.

The tour is in support of Offset's second solo studio album of the same name, Set It Off, which was released on 13 October. The album features guest appearances from artists including Cardi B, Travis Scott and Future, among others.

Opening acts for the tour are yet to be announced.
