Masaaki Sakai (Masaaki Kurihara) also known as Machaaki is a Japanese singer and a member of “The Spiders”, a Japanese version of “The Beatles”. In late 1970s, he came to fame in Japan and many English-speaking countries as the performer of the role of Sun Wukong in what still remains a cult TV series based on a classic Chinese novel “Journey to the West”. In addition, Masaaki is a vintage car racer, artist billiard player, equilibrist, and archer. |
