In 2023, progressive metal band Voyager became the first band in Australia’s Eurovision history to be allowed to represent the country in that contest. The group was formed in 1999 in Perth. Its permanent leader is Daniel Estrin, who, as the musicians themselves note, works as a lawyer by day and a rock star by night. |
