Singer-songwriter Slimane Nebchi was born in France to a family of Algerian descent. Slimane’s path to popularity began with a YouTube channel, where he posted recordings of his songs, as well as with participation in various music competitions. The singer rose to widespread fame in 2016 after his victory in the Voice. Eight years later, Slimane was chosen to represent France at the Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö. |
