Ryan O’Shaughnessy is an Irish singer-songwriter and former actor, born on September 27, 1992, in the village of Loughshinny, in the northern part of County Dublin, Ireland. From 2001 to 2010, he played the role of Mark Halpin in the TV series Fair City. In 2012, he participated in the first season of The Voice of Ireland as part of Brian Kennedy’s team but was eliminated after the first live show, finishing in 23rd–24th place. Later that year, he auditioned for Britain’s Got Talent, performing his original song “No Name”. He reached the final and finished in fifth place. In 2018, he represented Ireland at the Eurovision Song Contest with the song “Together”, placing 16th in the final. |
