ESSYLA is a Belgian singer-songwriter from Walloon Brabant. She first came to wider public attention after the ninth season of The Voice Belgique, where she performed under her real name, Alice Van Eesbeeck, and reached the final. Her solo project under the name ESSYLA took shape with the release of her debut EP I’ll Be Okay in 2023; she describes the stage name as a stylised version of Alice, reworked as “Alice backwards” rather than reproduced letter for letter. ESSYLA is Belgium’s representative at Eurovision 2026 with Dancing on the ice. |
