Arctic Monkeys are a British rock band formed in Sheffield in 2002. The musicians gained recognition before signing with a record label, as their demos were shared online by listeners. Their debut album, “Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not,” was released in 2006 and won the Mercury Prize. Their best-known releases include “Favourite Worst Nightmare,” “AM,” “Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino,” and “The Car.” |
