Fleetwood Mac are a British-American rock band formed in London in 1967. The group began as a blues band led by guitarist Peter Green, but after several lineup changes, its music evolved toward a more melodic pop-rock sound. A defining period in Fleetwood Mac’s history began when Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham joined the band. Their 1977 album Rumours, featuring Dreams, Go Your Own Way, Don’t Stop, and The Chain, won the Grammy Award for Album of the Year. Fleetwood Mac were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998. |
