Dido was born on December 25, 1971, in London, England. She started her career as a guest vocalist for Faithless. In 2001 Dido’s debut album No Angel was released. The album became the UK’s top-seller of 2001. The same year Eminem, an American rapper, used a verse from Dido’s song, Thank You, in his single, Stan. Dido also appeared in the music video as Stan’s girlfriend. |
