Juanes was born on August 9, 1972, in Columbia. At the age of 15 he started performing with a heavy metal band, Ekhymosis, which released 5 albums, becoming popular after the release of the song La tierra. In 2000 Juanes recorded his debut album, Fíjate Bien, which was awarded three Latin Grammys. |
