Eagles, an American rock band, was formed in 1971 in Los Angeles. The group’s eponymous debut album was released in 1972. The group’s fifth album, Hotel California, took around 6 months to be recorded at different studios. Two songs from the album, New Kid in Town and Hotel California, became #1 hits in the Billboard Hot 100. The title track, Hotel California, also won the Grammy Award as the Record of the Year. In 2001 the Hotel California album was ranked no.15 in VH1’s list of Greatest Albums of All Time. |
