Translated from Spanish, La Quinta Estación means the 5th season. It’s a Spanish pop/rock band that now consists of two musicians from Madrid: Natalia Jiménez (vocals) and Ángel Reyero (guitar). The group was formed in 2001 in Spain, however after it recorded the first four songs Sony Music suggested that the group move to Mexico, an offer accepted by La Quinta Estación. In Mexico the group recorded its full-length album, Primera toma. After its release the group became popular in Latin America and throughout the Spanish-speaking world. |
