Alejandro Sanz (born Alejandro Sánchez Pizarro) is a Spanish musician, composer and singer. He has sold over 25 million copies of his albums, won 2 Grammy Awards and 15 Latin Grammys. He started playing the guitar at the age of 7, at 10 he composed his first song, and at 16 he recorded his first album, “Los chulos son pa' cuidarlos”. At that time he used the stage name of Alejandro Magno. His official debut, however, happened only in 1991 with the release of the “Viviendo Deprisa” album after Alejandro had signed for Warner Music. |
