Harel Skaat is an Israeli singer born in 1981 in the small town of Kfar Sava, which is located in the southern part of Sharon valley. At the age of 6, Harel won a children’s singing competition called Kohavim Laerev-Kojav Nolad with the song Ima, havini (Mama, understand). His debut album was released in 2006 and was certified gold a month after; and eventually became platinum in Israel. In 2010, Harel Skaat was chosen to represent Israel in the Eurovision 2010 song contest. |
