A Friend in London is a Danish rock band founded in 2005 by best buddies who went to the same boarding school in Vostrup. The band became famous in Denmark after a series of tours across the country. A Friend in London won the European final of the Million Dollar Bodog Battle which earned them great popularity outside Denmark, too. The band is still very active on the musical scene in Europe. After successfully completing the three stages of the Danish national selection contest A Friend in London was chosen to represent its country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 in Düsseldorf. |
