Zdob şi Zdub is a band that was founded in Moldova in the 90s. The name of the band is Moldovan, but it is basically the sound of drums. Zdob şi Zdub’s style is a unique and elegant mix of brutal hardcore and Moldovan folk. The band has performed in over 20 European countries, opened concerts for world stars and taken part in international musical projects. Their creative work is highly appreciated and has earned them many awards and prizes. In 2011 Zdob şi Zdub has the honour of representing Moldova at the Eurovision Song Contest for the second time (the first time was in 2005, when the band took 6th place). |
