Poli Genova (Поли Генова) is the Bulgarian singer representing Bulgaria at the Eurovision 2011. Her first three attempts to be selected met with failure: in 2005 and 2006 Poli tried to soften the hearts of the Bulgarian selection jury with the Melodia trio, and in 2009 she didn’t get further than the solo semi-finals. But in 2011 both the jury and TV audience chose Poli Genova with her song “Na Inat” as the best from the 19 candidates. |
