James Blunt (James Hillier Blount) is an English singer and musician. His destiny took quite a few sharp turns before he ended up in the world of professional music. At University he studied aerospace construction technology, and then he found himself in Kosovo, armed, on a tank, and with guitar at the ready. After this spell in the army, James recorded his first album Back To Bedlam which included his “calling card” song - You’re Beautiful. This reached number one of the Billboard Hot 100 in 2006. James’ songs are both optimistic and sad at the same time; they are always sincere and that’s what makes millions of listeners love them. |
