Chisu is a singer and songwriter from Finland. The singer’s stage name was formed from the first letters of her real name (Christel Martina Sundberg) and the word “kisu”, which means “kitty” in Finnish. Her debut single “Mun koti ei oo täällä” (2007) became the soundtrack for the film “Sooloilua” and quickly soared to the top of Finnish charts bringing popularity to Chisu. She is now among the fifty most successful singers in Finland. Chisu has been repeatedly honoured with the Emma Gaala award (Finland’s equivalent of the Grammy) in various categories.
