The Guggenheim Grotto is a musical duo from Ireland (Kevin May and Mick Lynch), which was launched in 2004. Since then the band has developed their own unique style in which multi-instrumental compositions harmoniously combine folk music with romantic melodies on acoustic guitar and modern electronic rhythms. Since 2006 the band has had a presence in the U.S. where it quickly gained popularity. Soon the song “A Lifetime In Heat” was named the best folk song by the Independent Music Award. |
