Soluna Samay is the singer/songwriter representing Denmark at the Eurovision 2012 song contest. She was born on August 27, 1990 in Guatemala to German and Swiss parents. Her father was a street musician who taught his girl to love music and play the drums and bass guitar, thus starting her off on her musical career. In September, 2011 Soluna presented her debut album, Sing Out Loud, which, according to her, was in a gypsy pop music style. The album featured 14 songs about the hardships of teenage life and unrequited love. |
