Touraj Keshtkar (تورج کشتکار), better known as Tooji, is a Norwegian singer of Iranian origin. He was born on 26 May 1987 in Shiraz, but his family soon moved to Norway. He is well-known at home not only as a musician but also as a model, a TV host and a campaigner for citizen’s rights. Four years after recording his first single, Swan Song, in 2008 Tooji was chosen as the best singer in the finale of Norwegian Melodi Grand Prix with his song “Stay” and so he is Norway’s representative at the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest. |
