Compact Disco is a band that was founded in 2008 in Budapest and consists of DJ Behnam Lotfi, Csaba Walkó (vocals), Gábor Pál (keyboards) and Attila Sándor (acoustic bass). The band’s first album came out in December 2009, and after that they started performing in Hungary and Romania. The electro-pop band has achieved quite a lot in their relatively short career. They took top place in the Best Hungarian Artist category at the MTV Europe Music Awards 2011, and their success in the knockout rounds of Eurovision 2012 means that they became the representatives of Hungary at the contest in Baku. |
