Sabina Babayeva is a jazz singer from Baku famous for her success in numerous music contests (Golden Hit 99, Amberstar 2009 etc.) and for playing the role of Fleur-de-Lys in the Azerbaijani version of the musical Notre-Dame De Paris. When Sabina was little she was a soloist with the “Happy Notes” choir. Her childhood hobby soon became her life’s mission, and after gaining a diploma in singing she soon confidently found her place in Azerbaijan’s music scene. She first took part in the national knockout rounds for Eurovision in 2008 and five years later she finally became her country’s official Eurovision representative after beating 72 other candidates to appear on the stage of Baku Crystal Hall.
