The Greek Cypriot singer Eleftheria "Elle" Eleftheriou was born on 12 May 1989. She gained wide public recognition after participating in the second season of the Greek TV show, The X Factor, and collaborating with popular singers Sakis Rouvas and Nikos Vertis. In 2012, Elle was chosen to represent Greece at the Eurovision Song Contest, after repeated attempts to participate in the contest: in 2006, Elle did not win in the national finals for Cyprus, and in 2010 the singer was disqualified from the Greek selection contest for releasing her song ahead of time. |
