The winner’s title in People’s Star 3, the unique title of The First Singing Radio Presenter, and the leading place in Crimea Music Fest brought the young Ukrainian singer Zlata Ognevich to fame in her country with gracious ease. Hoping to showcase her talent outside the Ukraine, Zlata had been auditioning for Eurovision since 2010, but to no avail. Only in 2013 did she finally manage to win the national board’s hearts and become the Ukraine’s bid for the Eurovision Song Contest in Malmö. |
