It would be fair to say that the pop rock band OneRepublic was founded by two school friends, Ryan Tedder and Zach Filkins. The guys’ erratic path to the heights of the world’s music charts began in 2002. A year later OneRepublic, which was now shaping up as a self-sufficient band, got down to recording their debut album, which, due to contract termination with their record studio, was released only in 2007. The album was named Dreaming Out Loud and received high audience acclaim worldwide. The song Apologize included in the album received the platinum status in the US as many as three times and reached some of the top positions in Billboard Hot 100, which listed the best songs of the decade.
