English singer-songwriter Michael Rosenberg known by the alias Passenger, claimed his stage name following the break-up of the same-name band in which he had been a frontman for six years since 2003. In 2009 Michael started a solo career and moved to Australia. His first albums followed soon enough, but their success failed to spread beyond Oceania. Michaels’ first international hit became the song Let Her Go which was released in 2012 and won him the Best Folk/Singer-Songwriter Song at the Independent Music Awards 2013. |
