Basim is a Danish singer with Moroccan roots, whose solo music career began in 2008, after his involvement in the Danish version of The X Factor TV show. That was when the young man released his debut album, which managed to reach the top ten Danish records of the year chart within a short period of time. In 2014, Basim received the opportunity to perform at the Eurovision Song Contest, being held in Copenhagen, a city that has become the singer’s home as a result of many years spent living there. |
