Jerónimo is an Argentinian singer-songwriter, born Alberto Pedro González Quevedo. At a relatively young age, after recording his very first studio album, Dos que me parecen uno, in 1972 and performing his first shows abroad, he signed a contract with Columbia and settled down in the capital of Spain. Wide acclaim came to Jerónimo once he won a number of music contests, including music festivals in Alcobendas, Benidorm, and Zagreb. Interestingly, by the early 21st century Jerónimo’s story became wrapped in legends, myths, and mysteries, the reason probably being that the artist wants to maintain his image as an incorrigible romantic. In which, indeed, he has succeeded.
