In 2012 astronomers were able to establish that the dwarf planet Makemake lacks atmosphere. An interesting fact, but no more than that, one would have thought… The same year a music band with a similar name, The Makemakes, appeared in Austria. Little is known about both events or the reasons behind them, but one way or another, it looks like they go together quite well. A couple of years down the road, the band achieved substantial success at home and in 2015 became known worldwide as Austria’s bid for the Eurovision Song Contest held in the band’s home country. |
