Young Cypriot singer John (Giannis) Karayiannis tried his luck with the Junior Eurovision national selection in 2007 and 2008, but both attempts failed. Even so, Giannis didn’t give up on his dream to perform on the stage of Europe’s number-one song contest and spent the next few years gaining experience in all kinds of local music events. In 2015, the singer decided to have another go with the Eurovision national selection and this time won the right to represent his country at the contest held in Vienna. |
