At the age of five Gregory Porter recorded his first song onto a tape – it was one of the famous songs of his idol Nat King Cole. That child’s play didn’t make Porter famous and now comes back to the singer only as a heading to his life as a musician. And this life reflects both Porter’s participation in Broadway musicals and his solo jazz career. Gregory became widely popular after release of his third album, “Liquid Spirit”, which won a Grammy for “Best Jazz Vocal Album” in 2014.
