Pur

Pur is a German pop band with a long and rich history. Even though they are considered to be one of the most influential German pop artists, the band is still not so famous abroad. The group was initially founded in 1975 under the name Crusade. Having being renamed twice, first to Opus, and then to Pur in 1985, the band quickly gained popularity, which they still haven’t lost up to the present day. 1990 saw Pur’s first major success after they released the single “Lena.”
