The band Moralny Kodex (Moral Code) was founded in 1989. Pavel Zhagun decided to create a musical collective whose sound would fuse together rock, jazz, punk, and funk. In 1990, the Soviet television show Utrennyaya Pochta (Morning Post) premiered the group’s debut music video accompanying the song titled “Ya Tebia Ljublu” (“I Love You.”) The recording left its mark in the history of Soviet music as one of the first music videos that featured three-dimensional graphics.
