Romanian singer Ovidiu Anton realized that his entire life would be devoted to music while he was still a child. At age six, Ovidiu started music school, and at fifteen he already created his first rock collective, Carpe Diem. Together with his bandmates, Ovidiu toured Romania and other countries for four years. In addition to his work in the band, participation in various music festivals and contests forms another integral part of his life in music. Among those, the central place belongs to Eurovision, which Ovidiu had been trying to break into since 2010. His persistence and perseverance, manifested in five attempts to get through the national competition, finally bore fruit in 2016: Ovidiu has won the right to represent Romania at the Eurovision Song Contest in Stockholm. |
