Electronic music project Major Lazer came to life thanks to the famous American producer and DJ Diplo (Thomas Wesley Pentz) and his British colleague Switch (David James Andrew Taylor). The duet’s debut album was issued in 2009 and since then the popularity of Major Lazer has been growing rapidly. Despite the success, several years after the musicians’ ways parted and Diplo stayed solely on charges of the project. After securing the support of the friend producers Jillionaire and Walshy Fire, Diplo continued developing Major Lazer. Soon after the new songs written in collaboration with the world famous musicians came out. |
