Julia Samoylova is a Russian singer who has been in a wheelchair since childhood. Passionate about music since school years, Julia created an alternative music band Terranova in 2008. The band broke up 2 years later and Julia’s music style took a rapid turn for the pop music. In 2014 Julia performed at the opening ceremony of the Paralympic Winter Games in Sochi. In 2017 an artist’s long-standing dream came true: Julia Samoylova was chosen to represent Russia in the Eurovision Song Contest held in Kyiv.
