Alma is a stage name of a French singer Alexandra Maquet, formed as an acronym by taking the first letters of her name. In various languages, it stands for “a soul”, “a little girl” or “a virgin”. In 2016, Alma released her debut single and the following year, having become one of the most promising young artists in France, she was chosen to represent her country in the Eurovision Song Contest in Ukraine. |
