Newcastle-based Fletcher Jackson Band was founded by a group of students from the Academy of Music and Sound, Gateshead. Performing at small venues and participating in regional festivals helped them gain recognition of local audiences, and soon members of Fletcher Jackson Band set out to conquer all of Great Britain. Fame came quickly: in the summer of 2017, their track “Live a Lie” became the song of the week on BBC Radio 1 and was heard all over the country. |
