The band Laid Back formed in Denmark in 1979. The group’s musical journey has taken many turns over its long history. Though its first albums were met with a cool reception from listeners, a few songs still became hits and made Laid Back world-famous. The band’s most important work includes the songs “Sunshine Reggae” and “Bakerman”, the latter with its music video by director Lars von Trier, as well as the soundtrack to the film “Flyvende Farmor”, which won Laid Back the Robert Award, Denmark’s main cinematic prize. |
