In 1998, guitarist Sandro D’Incau and keyboardist Alex Seiberl spearheaded the creation of symphonic metal band Lunatica. Writing the first few songs was the easy part for these musicians, but finding a lead singer whose vocals would match their conceptual ideas proved to be a serious challenge. It was not until 2001 that Andrea Dätwyler joined the group, which immediately set out to record its debut album. The record, named Atlantis, was a success that drew the attention of a large audience. |
