La La Love You is a Spanish pop-punk band from Parla, a city south of Madrid. David Merino and Roberto Amor first met at school and initially played together under a different name; the band later became La La Love You, taking its name from the Pixies song. In 2009, they reached the later stages of Spain’s Eurovision selection with Dame un beso, but their real breakthrough came a decade later with El fin del mundo, which gradually became their signature hit. After the success of El fin del mundo, La La Love You moved from small venues to much larger stages and built a particularly strong following in both Spain and Mexico. Their music combines fast pop-punk guitars with synths, dance rhythms and songs about love and romantic disappointment. In 2026, the band released its fourth album, ¿Por qué me miráis así?, broadening its sound with electronic elements, rumba and touches of 1990s rock. |
