BGT fans call for Ashley Banjo to be permanent judge as he replaces Simon Cowell

Britain's Got Talent viewers are desperate for Ashley Banjo to become a permanent judge on the show after he impressed fans with his feedback in the semi-finals.

The 31-year-old dancer, who won the show in 2009 alongside his dance group Diversity, has come full circle as he temporarily took over Simon Cowell's spot.

In his first appearance as a judge in tonight's semi-finals, Ashley has already been critical of the first dance group and has even taken part in a magic show.

Fans are hopeful that Ashley might become a permanent feature, as viewers commend his judging technique and spoke of how much he has already improved the show.

One fan wrote: "honestly tonight is just reigniting my love for Ashley Banjo, can we keep him as a judge permanently?? please?? he's SO much better than Simon lmao #bgt#britainsgottalent."

Another added: "Me when I realised that Ashley Banjo is probably a better judge than the original 4 combined #bgt #BritainsGotTalent."

After his critique of the Urban Turtles, another viewer praised the dancer for his honest opinions of the dancers.

"Ashley Banjo has been a judge for 1 act and he is already showing that he’s better than other judges #bgt#BritainsGotTalent."
