Olivia Rodrigo details plans for Guts Tour
Olivia Rodrigo has opened up about planning the shows for her upcoming Guts Tour.
The Good 4 U hitmaker has shared that the planning process of her upcoming world tour is forcing her to "examine (her) identity" as an artist.
The trek is scheduled to kick off in Palm Springs, California on 23 February, which is just days after her 21st birthday.
"I'm either not gonna do a party or I'm gonna be really hung over for the first show," Olivia joked during an interview with the Los Angeles Times. "We'll see."
The Vampire singer admitted that planning the production "is really making (her) examine (her) identity" as a live performer.
"Because I love going to a show that's big and awesome, but I'm also not the type of girl who's gonna break into a dance routine. That's not me," she explained. "So I've got to figure out a way to make it my own."
The 20-year-old, who has recently been channelling 1990s alternative rock in her songs, also noted that she needs "to work on (her) death-metal scream too".
Olivia tried out the scream while performing her song All-American B**ch during a recent appearance on Saturday Night Live.
The 77-date tour will run from 23 February until 17 August.
