Robbie can't wait to play with baby

Robbie Williams has said he can't wait to have a kick about with his own child.

The Take That star - whose wife Ayda is expecting their first child - travelled to the slums of Mexico City to see how the money raised from his annual celebrity football tournament Soccer Aid is spent, and had a kick about in the street with some of the kids.

Robbie told The Sun: "I love that bit. Any initial nerves that you feel always go away once you are around kids. I can't wait to play with my own."

Soccer Aid raises money for Unicef, which helps impoverished children around the world.

Robbie, 38, met children living in the Mexican slums where there was no clean water, no toilets and drug addicts were wandering around the streets in front of the youngsters.

He revealed as a father-to-be he felt more moved by what he saw.

Robbie said: "I can't believe a newborn is living in this place. You always feel that you want to do more - to do something right there and then.

"You can't help but get overwhelmed and I feel like it's affecting me even more this year with the little one in Ayda's tummy."
