Lana Del Rey has babysitting job

Lana Del Rey has revealed she still works as a babysitter.

The 25-year-old US singer-songwriter said she still lives a "really normal life" despite cracking the charts with songs like Video Games and Born To Die and being nominated for top music awards.

She told MTV: "I still have my same babysitting job!"

Lana, whose real name is Elizabeth Grant, went on: "I babysit twice a week. When I'm here it's what I do. It's just because it's something I've been doing for a while."

However, Lana might not have time to babysit too much in the future if her star continues to rise. The singer is among the acts shortlisted for MTV's annual Brand New award honouring the newcomers most likely to make it big in the coming year. And she has also been nominated in the International Breakthrough Act at the Brits.
