Avril Lavigne has been celebrating single life with a girls only holiday to Mexico.

The 27-year-old singer - who split from boyfriend Brody Jenner earlier this year - has been pictured snuggling up to a girlfriend on a sun lounger, as well as laughing and enjoying a dance together.

And while Avril is Canadian, she appears to be celebrating the London Olympics, showing off her curves in a Union Jack bikini.

The Complicated singer has also enjoyed snorkelling and a trip on a yacht.

The Sk8er Boi singer has kept her edgy alternative style on the beach, showing off an undercut beneath her flowing blonde locks.
